Agreed, I thought the niece and nephew (if they were really his relatives) seemed like caricatures. No teen, no matter how sullen, is that boring.
I thought it was torturous watching the perky Christmas decorator people cringe every time the kids swore or acted up.

And then we got all of 4 minutes of footage of Tony actually cooking, and then him bitching at the end of how much work it was. Making a holiday meal IS tiring...for the average mom.
If we are to believe his books, Tony used to crank out 500 covers a night when he was a restaurant line cook...has he really gotten so soft since then that making turkey and stuffing wears him out? Even when he took all kinds of shortcuts that my mom never would have?

i laughed at some parts, definitely other parts were boring. I did learn a bit more about how foie gras is getting a bad rap.
